Trout Creek Orchard is a family farm operated by Mike and Susan McCarthy in Oregon’s famous Hood River Valley. Farms owned by the McCarthy Family raise pears, cherries, apples, Christmas trees, cattle, hay and flowers. One of the farm’s missions is to be a leader in developing and implementing sustainable farming practices. During the Holiday Season we offer our select pear gift packs and Christmas holiday wreaths to customers throughout the United States. We guarantee our products. Orders can be made by phone or on this website.

Trout Creek Orchard is closed for the season; we will begin shipping pears again on November 1, 2009. Thank you for your interest in our farm, we hope to hear from you then!

A percentage of the purchase price goes to support the Hood River Valley Residents Committee, a local land use and environmental group whose mission is to “protect the special qualities of Hood River County by safeguarding its farm and forestlands, as well as the livability of its cities and rural communities.” Mike McCarthy and mother Kate McCarthy are founding members of this 501(c)3 group and have worked for 30 years to protect farmland and forests in the Hood River Valley as well as the special places on the north side of Mt. Hood.
